Our parks and recreational facilities are not luxuries—they are essential to our quality of life. They connect us, keep us healthy, and make New Brighton a desirable place to call home. I will advocate for maintaining and improving these spaces for current and future generations.
Advance Housing Goals
As a renter, I understand the pressure of rising costs. We need a range of housing options—affordable rentals, starter homes, and housing for our seniors and young families. I will work to advance smart housing policies that keep New Brighton welcoming and affordable.
Support Public Safety
Public safety means more than just policing. It means safe streets, well-lit parks, mental health resources, and community trust. I will support our first responders and invest in prevention and community-based solutions that keep everyone safe.
Keep Our Community Safe
All of our residents should feel safe and welcomed. The diversity of our community is what makes New Brighton a great place to live and visit. During Operation Metro Surge, the schools, parents, and neighborhood groups kept the community safe and the city made the right call to let the community take the lead while providing residents a know-your-rights and other resources guide.
